As a new comer to all that is going on,I have been noticing a disturbing trend that I have seen before in the past during the late 60sand early 70s when there was the end the war and draft movement. That trend is there are to many off arguments going on as to what the constitution is realy all about and stumping for canidates and not enough of how we are actually going to effect change within the greedy Wall St. system. There have been some very good discussions about such things as worker co-ops and change of some regulations and I believe that is where we must keep the focas,,there will always be the Judas's out there, along with those who just dont get it,,ignor that and stay within the confines of what this is all about,, CHANGE!!

You make a very good point. I think the movement is trying to strike a balance between goals that are concrete enough to bring people in and a "sky's the limit" mentality. If the movement became large enough, it could turn into a lasting network/union that can accomplish great social and economic change, yet have smaller goals and victories along the way. Until there are greater numbers the focus should remain on banks and wall st. and as numbers grow , ideas will diversify. I imagine a number of new sustainability solutions arising from this movement, as well as political theories, literature and art. So much of this movement lies in what it could be, so much depends on what it is. This is the delicate balance we must all consider.
