@johniewaddell brought up a good point encourage people around you to record everything..even a business record all that you see and distribute it on to the web.. self documentation is the way.. towards exposing the unjust tactics done on the civil disobedient ...the 99 have to do this we must..to encourage the rest of the world that we are the same we share the same struggle..we are all the 99 percent

Very powerful legal evidence. Great call

Good point oppositefear. Expose the 1% to the rest of the world and show their way doesn't work. Will make it harder for the 1% to put down roots anywhere. I like it.

Yeah we are working hard to prevent injustice and the best way will always be complete transparency with accountability to the people. Its amazing how easy it is to succeed when you are doing the right thing.

@gavemehope you know it :) @whitefeather so well said we have the upper hand always.. @johniewaddell you brought up a perfect idea ..and yes transparency is the way..we can police the police so to speak billions against thousands ...we own our futures not corporations..very good idea you had world changing even :)

My brain is all over right now, but I think a brainstorm on all subjects related to this is needed right away please.
  • johniewaddelljohniewaddell October 2011 +1 -1
Well lets see what we can do then Ill go do some research and report back what i find
  • gavemehope October 2011 +1 -1
Thank you sir, protecting our protesters, utmost importance.
  • oppositefearoppositefear October 2011 +1 -1
@gavemehopewe should tell restaurants and local stores and people around the area to record our protest..or bring a friend to stand away from the protest and just record..like we should have people strictly for recording everything nothing more... like make our own camera men/women...so yeah it could work..or anonymous recorders like just far enough to record.. i think anonymity is key in this recording thing :)

How about some signs in big letters, Reading stuff like. Right to peacefully assemble, We are non violent. Please no excessive, or unnecessary force. On the front lines on tape, held by the people most advantageous in appearance in every way possible. You know, what makes good tv....

I agree with having documentation specialists at the protest. I think it is more about getting the idea of thorough documentation out though. We have many communications grads that will take their own lead on this one. Also, short of very expensive streaming media accounts and server support it would be difficult to provide real time support. The best we can do here is simply tell everyone to add any illegal activity by police or government officials to as many servers and forums as they are able. instant linking via twitter, facebook video post, and youtube video post will be most effective. Oddly enough, and contrary to my normal feelings, I feel this avenue should stay somewhat unorganized simply because it is the amount of media being generated that truly is our protection and we need it as protected as possible. Like I said get the word out about full documentation and the rest will do itself I think.

@gavemehope yeah that's smart like advertising our means..yeah and it shows where peaceful..cleaver idea..yeah i think all that's needed is what you said and more role playing so to speak..organization of what we all should do being the 99 and all :) that's a good one
  • gavemehope October 2011 +1 -1
K just trying to storm. It is tomorrow. Put ideas out for the boots on the ground to digest. Sounds good Jonnie, and oposite.
  • oppositefearoppositefear October 2011 +1 -1
@johniewaddell i see that's a smart a type of unorganized organization so to speak..yeah you said it documentation specialist is a must from all age's. Age discrimination can truly kill the movement..but i want to stress documentation from anyone because it's raw.. and shows an organicness that the polished documentation lacks sometimes.. none the less i cant undermine that wonderful idea ..i fully agree

i think every protester should borrow legally or purchase a camera and sd card ...ebay or amazon have quality cheap sd cards and cameras..if you can.. i know these are trying times..just doing what you can pushes us closer to the goals at hand awesome..
