How Neo-Cons and Extremists brainwashed the world into hate

Check out this documentary which details how the plot to create fear in our country dating from the 50's to the present was sold to the public here and in the middle east.

This was never shown in the States-not suprising and was made by Adam Curtis in the UK. Sometimes when you get to the archieve site you have to research the documentary.

I think your link is busted.
All I got was a landing page that said "Buy this domain, This domain is for sale. Please contact to kerryweb@gmail.com."

You are correct marchelo. But I still would like to ask if there is anybody out there that is getting the feeling that we, the American people, are being groomed to support a new war? ie: Iran?
  • whitefeather January 2012 +1 -1
I have had the same feeling for the past few weeks. It sure seems like it.

They are forcing Iran to fire "the first shot". In the past few weeks, due to the "economic sanctions" the prices in Iran have risen over 30% - i.e., superinflation. That has only been partially countered by the rising price of oil (about $100/barrel). But now they want to also impose an embargo against the oil exports from Iran. This could cause mass internal protests in Iran, which could then quickly force the hand of the Iranian government. That is, they want to impose a mass rebellion from the inside, or provoke an attack from the outside (just like the many historical examples, e.g., Pearl Harbor, Sinking of Lusitania, etc.). Of course this has been part of their grand design (i.e., "Project for the New American Century" starting with 911) all along.

OWS needs to immediately, proactively, and repeatedly expose this conspiracy - otherwise, it will become a victim of its consequences soon. This should be done in the context of exposing the increasingly destructive crisis-driven conspiratorial nature of "globalist" monopoly capitalism. And OWS should once and for all develop an anti-capitalist stance seeking immediate alternatives to divest from capitalism (i.e., avoid collaboration by means of participating in the economic system via employment, transactions, taxes, all of which provide capital for the capitalist destructive plans); and plan and implement economic experiments to develop an alternative sustainable economic system ASAP.

I highly doubt OWS can withstand the next big wave of repression in the wake of a WWIII scenario unless it has its alternative economic power system to rely on in case of a big siege. Sorry to state the obvious but people need to survive (i.e., eat, drink, seek shelter, stay healthy, etc.) first before they can protest! If the members get branded and intimidated threatening their immediate survival, then the movement will remain very fragile and precarious.

I found an easier way to find it. Go to archieve.org and type in The Power of Nightmares. It is a BBC documentary. It is a shame as it took me forever to find the other site and I must have messed up the address. Anyway, it's really worth it. When you add the Trillion dollar lawsuit to it things start to make a little sense.

I started watching this. It amazes me how a person's idea can change a whole country; especially when they don't even live in that country. But to have two people from different areas creating two different movements surfacing at the same time is weird.
  • I watched the first 15minutes and was blown away. Currently Re-visiting.

Part 3 gets kinda comical around 30 mins. time going over the so many alleged plots that were foiled except that practically none of them led to any evidence of any terrorists - "sleeper" or not. Sounds like amazing paranoia with so many people distressed and tormented if not much worse. Yet, was it just paranoia or did it serve its purpose of smoke and mirror while the neocons attended their hugely profitable business plots inside (e.g., the housing plot and the bank bailouts) and abroad (e.g., the Iraq/Afghanistan wars and control of oil resources and prices), not to mention gearing up the police state with laws and institutions (e.g., Dept. of National Security, etc.) that would eventually come handy when the back lash would eventually occur.

Too many half-truths in this series. Another example, it does not even touch upon the relationship between AlQaeda, 911, and the CIA / Project for the New American Century. It seems like based on a script written by the Democratic Party wing of the Neocons, like a wolf dressed in sheepskin. The huge elephant (i.e., the real story behind this) in the room ignored by all this is how hugely profitable all these policies have been, with huge entrenchment of oil interests in the Middle East in a period of time when the price of oil went up from $20 to $100 most of it owned / controlled by the AngloSaxon multinationals, plus massive selling of armaments, plus massive amounts being spent on "reconstruction" after repeated and endless wars - dressed up as "religious wars", "clash of civilizations", other fictitious fantasies some of which even the movie (i.e., the pseudo-documentary) admits. Mucho Dinero at the cost of millions dead / disappeared / tortured / oppressed and devastated, not to mention toxic environments hostile to life for generations to come. Capitalism in all its glory! And the sickening "story" continues...

"Follow the money". "It is the economy, stupid".
