Local Business Directory?

    I met the representative of a local company making directories for local and independent businesses around town. I was thinking how easy it would be to make an open source local business directory under each city in our forum. By relocalizing our economy it will allow us to break from the corporate stronghold and build a sustainable future.

    If you can think of even just one local business in your city worth supporting post into the corresponding category with a title like "Local Business Directory" etc. This is a very important idea in my mind, what do ya'll think?
