    the last two days at both occupations there has been an increase in police presence and intimidation at our sites and marches. The chief of metro pd has claimed that the injury of 5 people at a protest of Americans for prosperity. 3 of which were protesters involved in a hit and run. According to some of our local allies the post and its affiliates story relating to the "violence" of the occupy movement have caused preassure on the mayor of dc and this is leading to the more aggressive presence and action by police at our camps and events.

    Stay strong and remain non-violent. These are keys to your success. If anyone is arrested I hope they head right back to the movement as soon as they are released. Gook luck to you.
