Trademark???

If it's true that "you" (whoever is allegedly planning this) apply for "trademark" you are no longer the 99% and you belong with the enemy you claim you're against. You are supposed to be the People, not an entity. We all are the 99% therefore the trademark belongs to the People. Is this true? The website (and something about winning $7000) was on an "Anon" video and made reference to this site, but this seems to belong to a radical group of libertarians (from what I take but I only read and heard very little before turning it off)

Everything is getting so out of hand and information is losing transparency on websites and videos.

does anyone have a response to this and if this is true, why would it happen?

It is true. A lady trademarked "Occupy Wall Street" despite an obvious opposition. She wants to profit off us but her true colors have shined.

DAMN! that's SOOOO wrong! But worse is that the news out there is saying that the MOVEMENT did this! We must contact independent news sources to deny this, then!! thanks Mundus!

if we get media coverage (the independent kind of course) about this subject, I will make sure to post it everywhere so people know

There are many articles circulating about the number of copyrights that are moving forward. so they can legally merchandise the Occupy Brand for profit. This is what happens, even in a movement. Someone always tries to make a buck. I hope we don't become what we are fighting against. Do not buy any Occupy merchandise. Make your own.
