    K street full of lobbyist and DC , what do you think?
  • Let 'em know the game is over. Time to clean their act up.
  • No more corporate welfare!
  • holt63 November 2011 +1 -1
    Exactly,and the way to keep it out! Donations limited to $50.00 per person only! No exceptions , max amount needs to be affordable to average poverty level citizen! No Bundling allowed. Penal laws enacted for any individual lobbying a senator for corp interests! Dollar values examples only. Actual values decided by consensus! Finally, no gov. Influence with respect to corporate hiring or location. Corporate welfare needs to be stopped it influences companies to jockey jobs from one location to another which creates striff for the affected workers whilst the corp reaps additional tax breaks!

    Occupy White House ... I mean isn't the Commander In Chief the one that can make the most difference? if anyone needs a message of change in the way things are, isn't it him? He is supposed to represent the people of the USA, you know?

    Nationalize campaigns.

    Also, we have a lot of ideas in the framing our narrative thread.

    Where should we go next? Go where the money is, How many millions of homes had banks foreclosed on the American people? You can get thrown out of parks and off streets by lower dirt of a non laws called CITY CODES. But Codes do not apply to a squatter in a home - yes homeless in the street they do but not in a home yours or not.
    Occupy Foreclosed vacant homes - it will assist collage students to offset their budget.
    Go where the money evictions take time and money throwing one out of a park or off streets take minutes and tax payers dollars.

    I don't think the sites are as important as the actions, e.g. bank transfer day, etc.

    Learn from Robin hood and the three musketeers one for all and all for one.
    YOU WANT MEASURABLE? Organize and go where the money is.

    1.It is public record what homes are foreclosed on
    2.Get the list
    3.Send a team to check if vacant
    4.Find some homeless people to occupy
    5.If you break something you fix it right away.
    6.Have an attorney on staff to delay eviction notices
    7.Respect and protect the property from vandalism.
    8.Occupy a human right instead of sleeping in the cold under a bridge or in a park where CODES and tax payers money can have you removed in minutes.
    Do to the banks what they done to American families occupy together – May Shelter and Peace be with us all as God blessed us as the banks wanting to take it

    This is a great idea I totally agree with this. There will be push back from the corporate media outlines but if used in the right way, it will bring more awareness to how bad we all got so totally screwed by the whole NAFTA fed, consumer consumed, housing market, credit, banking, fed, and government scam of an incomparable scale to any time in history. That the media and government that keep covering like a turd in a cat box, every time it comes up, by perception management. Anything that brings attention to that could change it. Besides all the great points laid out above. This is a great option.

  • A hot line needs to be set up to assist and aid the families children at present being tossed out and foreclosed on - A 5- 10 man team needs to occupy and be in contact with others when needed.
    This will make a measurable difference and Aid our children in need.

    Yes I agree with the housing market that screwed us all over. In areas where I lived before, every other house has been emptied out, and foreclosed, it's very saddening actually. I do think we should also go as far as helping people while in the act of protesting, we should assist families being thrown out with anyway we have the means to. We could at least find them clothing , shelter , food to help get them along. Being kicked out of your house is humiliating, I can imagine, your items sprawled on the front lawn for everyone to see....

    @Governmental Freedom
    What sort of aid?
    I think it's a rather fine idea. Occupy should also help people , give back - help families and others. You never get anything in return if you don't give back to the community. The Occupy group where I live, is very generous and pleasant.

    For OccupyHomes? Yes, if we could go to public records, find the families and just help them out. Sending in Homeless people to occupy is going to cause a lot of havoc and what will we do, if terrorizers come into view, anarchist groups like...l so to speak, The Black Blocks.What should we do to the banks, that they've done to us. We can't possibly throw out tables , bankers , money and bank receipts on the sidewalk. We can only suggest and find the top names of the bankers and demand them to be put to public trial , which is highly unlikely.

    @MiddleGround
    And if we were going to Occupy the Whitehouse, we should have a very clear list in demands I suppose. I mean very clear, not just catchy slogans. Very clear and direct, and we should bring large numbers, that would have to occur in spring or summer, if you look in history most civil rights protest had their high moments in the spring and summer.

    We should Occupy Combined Systems Inc. of Jamestown Pennsylvania that make the tear gas supplied by the US to Egyptian military, to demonstrate solidarity and support for protesters in Egypt.
