Hello From NE Ohio....questions about starting an occupy in small city
  • Inspiringmind October 2011 +1 -1
My name is Mary and our Occupy movement is just beginning in our city. We live in a small city, under 20,000. (Occupy Ashtabula) We are having our first meeting on Wednesday where we are going to be talking about our agenda and getting our various committees together. I have been reading a lot about how to start an occupy in a city, bit still have questions. We would love to hear from people who have started an OWS in a small city. Did anyone go to the city government and tell them that they were going to start occupying? I have gone through our cities administrative codes and can find anything about needing a permit for where we live. Here is our FB page, this is probably the best way to reach us right now. We could really use some experienced people to help us. http://www.facebook.com/OccupyAshtabula?ref=ts
