When a government privatises income generating assets this will not be done for the benefit of it,s voters as it is always and only the big corporations that are able to do the buying and are thereby create a monopoly where they will make a very serious amount of money.(at the expense of the public)
I think the whole privatisation thing is wrong as every government needs a healthy stream of revenue in order to do it,s job.

A corporation is only a fictitious but legal identity and could be from anywhere on the globe,meaning they may not even have the best interest of the locals in mind.

Any government that privatises it,s income generating assets is as corrupt as Milton Friedmans take on economics.
